The Happiest Place on Earth--Holiday Style

We've enjoyed our annual passes to Disneyland this year and have been wanting to go while it is magically transformed for the holidays. So we spent a couple of hours there this evening for family night. It was cold and rained all day, but gratefully the skies were mostly clear for us there tonight. We had a fantastic time and the kids were great.

A highlight of the evening, It's a Small World, the Christmas version.

Josh and I watching the Christmas parade.

Blake's first ever trip to Disneyland. He was bundled up and slept through most of the evening.
No traffic, no lines, no crowds, didn't spend a dime (not even for parking), just a festive and fabulous family night!

Ten Wishes

I've been tagged. I'm supposed to list 10 material wishes that I have, which should be pretty easy. Here we go, in no particular order. Santa, take note.

1. An 8-passenger Toyota Sienna (I NEED this so I can participate in my carpool again :)
2. New windows
3. A new cell phone
4. Bedroom furniture
5. New carpet
6. A new dishwasher (you have to listen to the cycle and open the soap dispenser at the right time, it gets stuck during two of the cycles requiring a little nudge, and it doesn't dry the dishes!)
7. A new microwave
8. New post-baby clothes
9. Christmas centerpieces for my dining and entry tables
10. A housekeeper/cook/nanny/secretary/gardener/tutor/personal shopper/. . . (does that count?)

Actually, that was harder than I thought, and now I'm feeling very materialistic. I'm supposed to tag 10 people, but I'm just going to say that if you are related to me and you blog, then tag, you're it (if you feel so inclined). And may all your wishes come true!
