Wedding Bells

We made a whirlwind trip to Utah this past weekend for a very special occasion--my father's wedding! He and his beautiful bride, Koelyn, are so happy together, and we are so happy for them. I know my mother is happy about this also, since she made it very clear when she was terminally ill that she wanted my dad to re-marry before too long. Gratefully he didn't have to be alone for too long, and he and Koelyn will make wonderful companions now. Koelyn is gaining more than just my dad as her husband, but also four daughters, two sons (one of my brothers was not in attendance), four sons-in-law, and 21 grandchildren. This is doubling the family size for both of them since Koelyn has six children of her own and I think 20 grandchildren. Welcome to the family Koelyn!

It's fun to see a picture of you with your siblings--and a few other red-headed cousins like your Annie!

Tami- This is Jamie, from Nauvoo. I found your blog from Jayna's and love to check in on you and your cute family. You are such a good mom! I just had to comment because 6 years ago, my dad remarried too (after my mom had passed away). It is such a blessing! To see him have companionship again has been so special. We have also enjoyed the added siblings and cousins!
